Overview

Express your creativity to the world. If you enjoy making videos, designing graphics to communicate a concept, digital storytelling, animation or experimenting with color, imagery and type, this is the place to start. Utilizing industry standard software applications, students will explore multiple modes of visual communication including foundations of design, digital photography, video production and animation.

This degree encourages creative problem solving while learning the necessary digital tools to communicate visually across multiple platforms.  Students will develop a professional portfolio of work that demonstrates real-world projects to prepare for the work place or transfer to earn a Bachelor’s degree. 

This is a dynamic, fast paced Associate Degree taught by industry professionals. Courses are offered on campus, hybrid and online delivery modes. Due to the intensive format, many classes in the major course of study are eight weeks in length. The degree is designed for transfer to many four-year colleges in the New England area.
